I was reading the information on one of my favorite songs, Nekozilla. Then, I checked the time. I was horrified.
9:58 PM?! Uh oh, I better get ready for bed. I thought.
Earlier today, my dad said that I should get ready for bed around 9:50 PM or 9:55 PM. I agreed to that, so I made sure to keep a watch on the time, checking the time every so often. However, when the clock turned to 9:55 PM, I forgot to check.
I rushed to the bathroom, and I was slightly shocked that every light in the house was empty. I went in the bathroom, and closed the door.
Then I got hiccups for no apparent reason. I tried the water trick and holding my breath. None of those worked. So I did my business, washed my hands, and put on hand cream. Then, I went back to my room. I saw another hand cream bottle in my room, which I knew was hand cream.
Hey, the hand cream in the bathroom looks and smells different from the one in my room… I thought.
I went to the bathroom again, opened the cabinet/mirror door, and looked at the hand cream bottle. It was actually gel cream that I put on. I washed and dried my hands again and went back to my room.
While opening the hand cream bottle, the lid bounced off the dresser and fell somewhere. I didn’t look for it since I had to put on actual hand cream. I put on the hand cream, and went looking for the lid.
I heard the lid fall somewhere to the right of me. I checked under my dresser, and it wasn’t there. It could only mean one thing: it was behind my stuffed animal basket. I pushed the overflowing basket and retrieved the lid.
Finally, I can go to bed. I thought.
I tried to twist the lid on the bottle, and it wouldn’t budge. I tried pressing the lid on the bottle, and it worked. Then, I twisted the lid so that the lid was on tight.
I finally went to bed, but there was one problem: my hiccups. They were more severe than ever, and the hiccups were attempting to suffocate me.
I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water to do the water trick again. It didn’t work, so my only option was to wait. But my mom came to the rescue, and suggested that I hold my breath for as long as possible. I did, and it worked.
I went back to my room, and finally slept at around 10:20 PM.
(Every part of this story is true, but the first 2 thoughts are probably different (but similar) than what I actually thought. I can’t remember thoughts very well.)
