To tell you the truth, this Horrid Beast gave Lord Varik a fright, but not the wolf. Within just a few seconds the wolf said to the beast ''Be gone''! When Varik saw that the beast obeyed the wolf, he was astonished at how the creatures obeyed this majestic wolf. Then Varik asked the wolf who that beast was, the wolf gave a strange answer ''He is the Demon of Takanat'' Varik then asked about Takanat. The wolf gave sharp reply ''It is the world where nightmares live'' Varik was surprised at this.
But the ruins were an even greater mystery. The ruins had to be at least 15,000 years old, and they were made with a strange material. Only one of the towers was standing, but it looked as if it would fall atop the duo any minute. Varik then asked the wolf if he could examine the ruins, but the wolf said ''The past is gone, but the future awaits'' Varik had a hard time trying to figure out what Zavala meant, but he thought it would be best if he didn't ask. The wolf told Varik that the sun is setting, and it would be best to find some shelter. Varik obeyed the wolf, and found an old shed by the ruins.
