Any advice on drawing with oil pastels?

Tip roll your pastels along the paper

Oil pastels are super messy but are great drawing utensils! I know it could be hard but here are some tips for reducing the amount of mess and have an awesome masterpiece:

• Roll your sleeves up
• Make sure to wash your hands before and after coloring with the pastels
• When your're done, rub it on a flat a flat and clean surface to avoid any smudges.
• Press down if you want the whole page colored without any white spots
• Press lightly if you want a lighter page with or without white spots
