Darker than a shadow itself

IT is holding me deep

Blinding me from certain moods

IT is holding me deep

Taking away any aspect of light

IT is holding me deep

Filling the holes I get in my heart

IT is holding me deep

Saltwater running down my cheeks

IT is holding me deep

So I just lie there unable to sleep 

IT is holding me deep.
