Plz tell me Im not the only one

Question

Am I the only one who thinks calling your friends "pookie" is weird. 

There is this boy in my class who wouldn't stop claling me pookie, and it is so annoying. My only preffered nicknames if you aren't friends with me are Carly or Nordic. there are nicknames that can only be used by my SPED teachers and IRL friends. 

_{If I get called pookie one more time I am gonna grab a time machine and go back in time to 1850s Sweden just so I can appear in a SAIN cuz ye}

Also, This is basically the only word kids at my school call their friends, It's scary.

it's so annoying. Thank God my Nordic heritage service has banned "Pookie" among a whole Gen Z slang

yup. not jus you friend :) las year all the kids in my summer camp kept calling each other “pookie bear”  and it was TORTURE listening to it for a whole week

I personally don't mind it, but yeah I guess it would be annoying if I was called that constantly!!!

I have heard that word tossed around in my last school, I didn't mind it, although it did appear as a source of mockery in some contexts, sometimes I liked being called that because it sounded genuine. But maybe it might be annoying if I got called that constantly.

I’ve never heard of that word, so I have no opinion on it.

Instead, random people in my grade call other (not really) random people their best friends when it’s pretty obvious they’re not. A little annoying if you ask me.
