Okay, so a lot of you know about the IT guy and Carly (Nordic_Genealogist). And how the school (IT guy specifically) blocks Nordic folk music, which is Carly’s coping mechanism. (It’s the 5th time this school year Nordic folk music got blocked)
Well, Carly’s school is supposedly an international school, but guess what? The only songs they allow are Top 40 hits, Kidz Bop, and songs in Spanish. Not exactly international.
THEN Carly asks the IT guy to unblock the music that’s blocked. The IT guy just tells Carly to get over it, which is ableist considering that Carly has autism and she can’t really get over it…
Now we have Carly looking up how to say a word (I forgot) in Northern Sámi?
It’s blocked. Because the language is Northern Sámi.
Now you’re discriminating a language! Come on!
