• The Norway-Sweden Union (1814 - 1905)
• Russia's annexation of Finland (1808 - 1917)
• Finland vs Russia vs Norway-Sweden war (1808-1809)
• The Great Emigration (1825-1900s (there is  no documented pecified end, however it ended in the 1900s)
• Icelandic independence movement 
• The Great Southern Swedish Famine (1867 - 1869)
