Alright, it’s unusual for me to post in this club.

A lot of lgbtq people ask “why do people think their bi partners are more likely to cheat?”

While I do not believe they are more likely to cheat, I have an answer to the question.

It’s very simple.

If you like both sexes, depending on your preferences, you might have just doubled the amount of people you like.

If you are a lesbian-bi woman (ik I made up this term but it’s bi woman who prefers women) with a male partner, depending on his attitude, he might think he’ll come home to you with another woman.

If you are a gay-bi man (you get it now) with a female partner, once again, depending on her attitude, she might think she’ll come home to you with another man.

But yeah, I believe it’s simple logic.

If I had a bi gf, I would not expect her to be more likely to cheat (given she’s a good woman) just because she’s bi.

Anyways, I’m off to eat the BTS Hungry Jacks burger.

Goobay.

While that kind of makes sense, I wouldn't back someone up when they say that because if your gay or straight, that doesn't mean you like every single person of the gender you like. That also applies to other sexualities inbetween.

Agreed

The math doesn’t math with some peoples logic. Double the people does not mean double the partners

This is like math problem I saw saying “A band of 100 people rehearsed for 4 hours. If it was only 50 people, how many hours did they rehearse?” That’s not how this works lol

I agree with what you said and I think you handled this topic well and respectfully. :)

And how is that supposed to be controversial?
by (155k points)
Because people will be disagreeing with me on a topic like this.

The reason why this is controversial is because it is giving an answer to a question that is considered “homophobic, biphobic” or sum.

Well, it makes sense to me.
