Posting this on anonymous, because... Yeah.
Personally, in my experience... I dunno, but I have been able to choose the people I fall for!
By saying you don't choose who you fall in love with, you're implying that you could be attracted to awful people, and it's simply 'not your choice.'
But the reality is, you DO get to choose! I've liked toxic people in the past (and lowkey now, too 
), and although I saw their HUGE red flags, I decided to go for it anyways, or simply lived in delulu denial! Or perhaps I saw things in them that outweighed the bad, or was just an absolute IDIOT and liked them for something like, oh, Idk, looks.
And you CHOOSE what to like in a person, and you CHOOSE to love them. It doesn't 'just happen!'
And listen, hear me out- I love girls! I think girls are adorable and absolutely the cutest! I've had girls come in and out of my life that I have loved SO dearly and held close to my heart, but just not in a romantic way! Girl can be MAD fine, and I'll tell her, but not in a gay way whatsoever :/
Listen, not to bash on anybody, but I don't think many of the young LGTBQIA+ children/ users are understanding the differences between the types of attraction and love. Most of you guys are barely teenagers, and have hardly had a taste of the real world- don't lock yourself into a category so quickly!
Anyways, TL;DR: In my experience, you can choose who you love. Many of us are just in denial.
