The legislative branch makes laws, and the executive branch passes laws or carries out laws like executing and carrying away so yeah. The judicial branch evaluates laws. Judicial is like a confusing word and it sounds like a math problem to me and you evaluate numbers in math so yeah.

Don't try to memorize them. You can look at the names and figure it out.

Executive - President and many workers with him that carry out orders. Think "execute" or "executive" of a company that does the same.

Legislative - Senate and House. They make and pass laws. Legislate is like Legal / Laws.

Judicial - Supreme Court and lower Courts. Judicial is like "Judge" and they review laws to see if they are fair or need to be changed.
