Quick Tip: Marker Coloring (Eyes)

Question

For use with Copic and other blending markers.

 

EYES

SUBJECT: Teal eyes

But you can do it with any color.

 

MATERIALS: Teal, Blue-green, Dark blue, Blue grey

In order: Lightest, medium, darkest, and shadow.  

 

Step 1: Color the lightest color of your eye.  

              EX: I color the eye teal.

Step 2: While still wet, cover the base color with the next color.

               EX: I color the teal over with the mint blue green, leaving some of the color                            showing at the bottom. 

Step 3: While still wet, color the top **** with your darkest color. 

                EX: I cover the top with a dark blue color.

Step 4: Apply highlights.

                 EX: I use a little white paint and dab a tiny amount on the eye.
