Category Notifications

You can now receive an e-mail notification once your favorite category or subcategory has a new post. This will allow you to know when a person posts something in a favorite category you follow, like a specific club, etc. You can favorite a category by clicking on the heart or star symbol.

Note: If you don't want to receive e-mails for category updates you are following, just uncheck this in your Profile (click on username -> Edit My Profile) listed under mailings.

I dont mean to be ride or anything, but what if we dont want any notifications? I have my email only for school and KidzSearch and my parent regularly check my email (My dad doesn't like seeing my email have something other than school). Can we cancel it somehow?

It is actually a very valid point. You can go into your profile under "Edit My Profile" and uncheck "Subscribe to emails sent out to all users and updates to favorite categories" to cancel e-mails being sent. We updated this post to clarify the setting option.
