So when you recite the Qur'an, [first] seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy].
Indeed, there is for him no authority over those who have believed and rely upon their Lord.
Assalamu alaikum! We are now on the 14th juz. And I'm reading from Surah Nahl, the 16th surah. This Is the 98th verse of the surah. In which Allah says,
"Whenever you recite the Quran"
Allah expects you to recite the Quran.
Allah says, when you recite it then..
"Then seek Allah's refuge from the cursed shaitan".
When you the Quran, shaitan will come and try to put you to sleep. Shaitan will put evil thought in your head. When you recite the Quran, you'll remember the other twenty things you had to do and finish it off quickly. This is going to happen when you're praying, when you're just sitting there reciting Quran or when you're trying to memorize. Its going to happen every single time. So every single time, seek Allah's refuge from the cursed shaitan. Say, a'uthu billahi minashytan irrajeem before you start reading the Quran. This is a really important part of your relationship with the Quran.
