Question

وعن عمران بن حصين، رضي الله عنهما، قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ “ الحياء لا يأتى إلا بخير” ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏ ‏.‏
وفي رواية لمسلم” ‏ "‏الحياءه خير كله”أوقال‏:‏ “الحياء كله خير‏"

'Imran bin Husain (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Shyness does not bring anything except good."

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

In a narration of Muslim: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "All of shyness is good."‏

In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, الحياء (Al-Haya') كله خير (does not bring anything except good.)
Al-Haya’ means having a sense of shame, and being modest and shy. Modesty and shyness is part of faith.
Al-Haya’ is from the good character of the heart and from the actions of the heart. Shame, shyness and modesty prevent a person from that which is unbefitting and wrong.
