Last year, one night in April, my mom and I went to bed. And while I was trying to get some sleep, I saw a cat that looked like my cat Timon. And I was freaking out.
"Shoo!" My mother was saying over and over. I quickly wrote a note to her:
Mom, Timon's angry twin came up the vent!
I put the note on the couch where my mom would find it. She came out of her room, her French Braid still in perfect shape.
I gave the note to her. She read it.
"Great," she said. She went to the bathroom, and my dad came out of their room.
"Hello, kitty," my mom said to the cat. "Fluffy Sir,"
"Fluffy Sir?" repeated Dad.
"You don't belong here," my mom was still saying, "you look just like our Timon.”
A few minutes later, Fluffy Sir was on the shower hood. And my mom said, "I don't think you can stay up there!"
10 minutes later, Mom said, "I'm gonna talk to Fluffy Sir one more time."
" Who's Fluffy Sir? " I asked.
"Who I'm talking to in the bathroom." Mom said.
An hour later, she asked me if I was asleep, and I lied to her that I was asleep.
The next day, I was running around outside when I saw a cat that looked like Timon.
"TIMON!" I shrieked happily.
" That 's not Timon! " yelled Mom.
"Who is it, then?" I asked, confused.
"That's Fluffy," she said.
