A lot of people are discouraged because people aren't reading their writing. Here are some tips to make it more interesting.
1: Write What You Know- I know everybody says this but it's important. If your not struck by inspiration right away, look around! Is there a girl in your class who you find mysterious? Come up with her story! Use your imagination.
2: Give Some Razzle Dazzle- When I say Razzle Dazzle, I mean make it interesting. Use adjectives, but not words like soft or cool. Use words like ethnic or delightful. See how I transform one sentence with adjectives:
The kitten slept in a bed.
The soft kitten slept in a hard bed.
The fragile kitten slept in an inadequate bed under the stairs.
3: Write- If you want to be a good writer, write all the time! Start a diary! It doesn't even have to be fiction!
4: Except Criticism- You can't please everybody. If someone suggests something, consider it! Don't give up because one person doesn't like it! Write because you like writing!
