Im really sad pls read

Question

So my siblings were playing nerf war then I decided we should play nerd war with my parents too. Well accidentally my lil brother shoots my dad in the face (with a nerd gun) and my dad gets mad and says 'I wish the person who thought of this game was never born. Little foes he know I'm the one who thought of the game. What should I do??

Maybe your father did not mean you, but the person who actually invented nerf guns (Reyn Guyer if you want to know). He could have just been angry at him for creating them.

Well you did nothing wrong so don't be sad, and if he knew that it was you who came up with it he would've probably never said anything...

I think you should tell him, and if he is a good father he'll apologize and probably be proud of you for standing up for yourself

You could say something like "hey dad, you know how you said when we were playing nerf guns that you wish the person who thought of this game  was never born?" Then he'll probably say something like "yeah?" Or "and?" Or something anyway then say "well the person who thought of the game was me... Do you actually want me to never have been born?" And he'll probably say something like "oh im sorry i didnt mean it i apologize" or something like that...

If that doesnt work to make you feel better than im sorry but i dont know what will. But i think the best thing to do is to tell him!

I mean, imagine getting shot in the face like that. You might react in the same way, right? I don't think he's mad at you two, he just reacted in the heat of the moment :)
