You need to hear this

You don't have to be the popular person in school. In the long run it will not matter and I know you don't feel that way right now but it really doesn't. If people leave you to be "pouplar" that's on them. It may seem like those people who are "pouplar" have everything and who are on the latest trends but most of those people are very insecure and spend a lot more then they should on what's trendy, I know don't judge a book on their cover. If you want to hear my personal stories on this tell me! I hope this is below at least one person!!!!

Honestly that’s so right. I’ve never been the popular one… The weird one, the nerdy one, but certainly not the popular one. I try to fit in but I know I shouldn’t. As some quote from somewhere says, “don’t try to fit in when you’re born to stand out.” Thank you so much for that beautiful message…

Yeah sometimes school really sucks, if ur not the way society considers cool ur not cool ur dork. Being in 7th grade I learned that that, unfortunately I did not learn of accept what I said until this year. I really love that quote!

You are totally right! It won't matter in the future! But not all people who follow trends and are popular are insecure. I have always followed trends (but often put my own twist on them, or even started my own within my school!), and I'd say I'm pretty popular at school. But I don't get everything- most of it I've had to work for for sometimes years :/ And sometimes being popular just means you are super nice to everybody! Treat and consider anyone and everyone your friend.

Anyways, that's just me. But for the most part, I totally agree with you! I would also like to hear the story you were talking about :)

I have a couple... I have a small friend group of 6 girls including me. ( we are not popular in anyway ) to give some backround 2 of the girls are choir and I'm in hand and at my school if ur in hand of choir your atomically a dork. And at the beginning of the we all say at a lunch table together than with some other kids at the table too. Then towds the middle of the school year one of the girls started hanging out with the popular girls and got a boyfriend and stuff. It made me and the rest of the girls feel a little weird but we didn't say anything.        ( we are not the type to get jealous and over react. We all think it's good to be friends with people who are not at the lunch tabele) then she would randomly start to sit with the popular girls at the lunch table and not even tell us and would just disappear for weeks then when she wanted us again she would come back to our lunch table and pretend like nothing ever happen. It would be nice to have say hey I'm going to sit with them today.  Instead of her just disappearing. Then started being super mean to us and to me personally she would text me stuff like: your so fat ur dumb ur such a dork. Which never really bothered me because I knew they aren't true and I know I'm going to sound rude when I say it  but I just don't think its true. And now we don't really see her anymore and she continue s to make  fun of us. And I later found out from a mutrale friends video that the popular girls dared  her to do everything and said she  would finally join their sqaud . And now she's dating the kid I like and she knew I liked him. She always called him gross. I guess that bothers me a bit. Not to bad of a story I just this it's crazy what poplar people can do to you. And it hurt even more that it was her doing it because we have been friends for 9 years and she did vitral last year because of civic and I showed her the ropes and introduced her to everything and everyone.
