Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas. What does all of these holidays have in common? Big, gigantic feasts of course! All of that turkey and candy, and you're super sick that holiday night. Now since all of those holidays are over, try to be healthy by these pieces of advice.
- Be creative- You can decorate, play, and do a lot of things with preparing your food all in a healthy way. You can make silly faces with protein and meat. You can make people out of vegetables, fruit, and wheat. Make a rainbow of healthy food. Being creative is being fun!
- Try switching- Instead of orange juice, eat an orange. Instead of eating ice cream, eat yogurt. Instead of a double decker cheese burger, eat a one layer cheese burger. Switching something to something healthier is a great way to be...healthy!
- Try to follow MyPlate- Although you think you can't live without dessert, (or is it desert?) try to follow MyPlate. Instead of dairy being milk, you can turn milk into yogurt. You can also turn the fruit part to a dessert, too.
- Have fun!- Making healthy food is not all about being serious. Having fun is the most important part of health. Without fun, you won't even be 1% healthy!
So there you have it. The tips to help you prepare a healthy but yummy meal. Now, you don't have to worry about being fat!
