Why being a boy is hard

Question

I see these posts about boys getting it easy, and girls are tougher. That is not quite true. Yes you have periods, and have higher beauty standards, but want to know what guys go through?

1: Facial hair. Some guys don't have alot, some do. I have facial hair issues tbh, and I shave every day, and have stubble the next day and I am only 15. So shaving is a daily process for us.

2: We have standards on us to be alpha, act masculine.Have big muscles. All that stuff. So you aren't the only ones with standards.Yes you have to deal with ladylike and whatnot, but ever think about it the other way?

3: We get picked on more. Specifically by other guys, mainly, but the popular girls at school just laugh at us if we aren't tough and handsome.

4: Your voices do not go through the squeaky stage. Count yourselves lucky.

5: Our hormones are crazy. More so than girls.

6: We have to deal with girls saying we have it easy, when it is equally tough. And we have a lot more stuff to deal with too, but I do not believe KT will allow it.

I'm a girl and I can actually agree with you on that. Only difference is you don't have to deal with all the period pains.

That some things about girls boys shouldn't know only if there a doctor and the same for girls but not only boys get picked on girls also get picked on to and I wouldn't really know what that's like because I'm home schooled but when I was younger my cousin picked on me like always but as we grew older we became best friends and if you want to know how old I am well I'm 11 and she is 13 bye

1. Girls get facial hair too

2. We both have different standards for the way we look

3. We get picked on/bullied too for being over weight and under weight

I totally agree! But just had to say, some of us girls do get insane voice cracks all the time XD

It may start around 11 or 12, and may end between 15 and 18 years of age. No two kids are alike, though, and some boys may go through this earlier or later than others.Apr 29, 2021

 

and that is how long guys have squeaky voices. I was blessed to have avoiced it however, but some guys have that long to deal with it^

Boys may have their own version of periods but they don't have to deal with period pain or period products or bras or the constant worry that our period will go through our pants. I am not saying you don't have your struggles too. On the subject of shaving girls shave too. Actually more than guys we have to shave our legs, armpits, and around our privates if we want to wear a bathing suit cause of the hair. Also we get unibrows and a "mustache"

Honestly, we all have it hard.

Life is hard, and people shouldn't being comparing their problems to others.

Even if someone's problem is "smaller", doesn't mean it's non-existent or easier to deal with.

Problems are problems, and everyone has them. Life is hard, no one (really) has it easy.

That statement is incorrect. This is a comment on Why being a girl is the worst thing ever. answered Jul 27, 2021 by TurtleUnicorns (78,950 points) You don't have to color your hair or wear makeup but I do agree being a girl is harder than being a boy There is also a post labeled being a girl is harder than being a guy. And on a post called Being a girl stinks, a comment is "Yes...I like who I am but it would be so much easier to be a boy. Along with numerous others, but I just hit the highlights. I am aware you may not have been aware of these, so I am not attempting to come across as rude.

I am not condemning girls, so please do not stand up for yourselves, when there is nothing to stand up for it that makes sense. Also, it was by human stupidity in the Garden that made human lives hard. Not God. All I was saying was that guys go through as much stuff as girls do. I also wanted to say that girls should just quit saying guys have it so much easier when lives are equally tough.
