Chapter 1
"We live in harmony. We live in safety." they said. Everyday, everyone in the city would say that. Today, I decided I wouldn't. I simply didn't even try to mouth the words. "We live in harmony." My sister, Nida violently kicked my leg. I ignored her reminder to say it. "We live in peace." I smiled as I had been rebellious.
I live in the city of Awi, the biggest city, with the smallest heart. Our neighboring cities are Ane, Bewa, and Gei. Tomorrow was World Day, and that would mean we'd all be going to one city.
