This is so random but I wanna tell you guys what the phych ward is like. It's a pretty long story though so I hope you have a long attention span.

So the police were supposed to bring me to the mental hospital for kids but apparently they forgot that this hospital didn't accept minors (aka they didn't have enough room at the place for kids), so I was stuck in the psych ward even though they aren't supposed to accept minors. Also in the police car you get to pick out the music so that was fun.

What happens when you get there is they give you some hospital clothes and you go change in the bathroom. But the bathroom door doesn't lock so I was scared someone would come in. After I got changed they took me to this room with a bed where I tried to sleep but it was really hard cause the bed was so uncomfy.

Then they woke me up at 5 am for the doctor appointment. The psychiatrist was on a portable rolling tv screen. So we talked and he was so boring and monotone I almost fell asleep.

After that sleeping, watching TV, and eating were the only things I did. The TV was in a protective box near the ceiling on the left and there was a camera in the back of the room. They would wake me up every time there was a meal. The only good meal was lunch when they gave me a turkey sandwich, chips, and a cookie. They did give us the same food every day though.

Some of the people there were really crazy. At times I wasn't allowed to come out of my room because of them. There was this one guy who kept staring out the door window at the people outside who were really sick, and he was laughing at them. Then my room was right next to that door so he would look inside my room and I was really creeped out. The psych ward was right next to the ER so we could see the really sick people.

After a while, I lost track of time. I could never go outside and there was no clock, so the only way of keeping time was the meals. I watched TV I think for most of my time there. There were a lot of Halloween specials I watched there.

Every day I would see a new psychiatrist and they would just say the same thing. They didn't even help. The psych ward was a place where you were only supposed to stay for a few hours at the most and then get transferred to somewhere else to get help. But I was there for days because they had nowhere to put me.

On the third day they let me take a shower. This lady came to my room at around 6 am and took me to the shower room in the ER. Apparently she has to be in the room while I'm taking a shower in case I fall or whatever. But I made her go out because it made me uncomfortable. But she still had to leave the door open a little. So then I took my shower and they finally let me use some deodorant and brush my teeth and hair. Then she took me back to my room where I resumed my sleeping and watching TV.

On my second night there, I was going so crazy that I was crying and felt like ripping my hair out. That's how boring it was.

Thankfully, at the end of the third day I got out. Because apparently they were illegally holding me there and my mom threatened to sue them. So then I got out and that's when I started homeschooling. Previously I was doing in-person school but I switched because my mom thinks it was stressing me out too much.

So that's pretty much it. Hopefully you guys never go there! Have a great day!! -Nayeon♡

the psyc ward is supposed to help, but it seems like it made u even more stressed. I would literally scream at the therapists who tried to help me if I was there bc what's the point of even being there if they all tell me the same thing?
