A bit weird but-

So this may sound weird and I would never normally talk about this on KidzTalk but I am running out of options here.

I am in 8th grade but have a friend in 6th. She asked me a few days ago if I was ok to date in 6th. I didn't want to be rude or sound mean so I just told her I would look into it. Me, personally, I don't think she should but I don't want to boss her around here.

So what do y'all think, is it ok?

Dating when you're that young can ruin friendships. I would advise her not to date but to stay friends. And then if she still likes them when she's older then she could date them. Because chances are she'll grow out of that crush before that and be able to move on.

I would say to her that it's really up to her and her parents. Say that you don't really know and you think she might want to be friends with him for a little longer.
