I wanna cut my hair short but my parents only allow six inches off

Basically I want 18 inches off my really long hair, to make it a chin length bob, but my parents only allow 6 inches off maximum. I'm also too afraid about their and the people I know's reaction!! What should I do ????

I have the opposite problem. My mom wants my hair to be short, so she cut 4 inches off (it’s not super short), but I want it to be the previous length.

Just ask them if you can get 18 inches off.

Maybe cut it off a little at a time so eventually it'll be the style you want!

Omg yes! This happend to me too! What I did was simple : when I went to Get a trim off my long hair I just told the hairdresser to make it short! Without telling my parents. but that is a bit drastic so maybe think about it for a while before
