You can try to make flash cards with Q&A
(ex: in the front there is what is monarchy? and in the back there is the answer. You do this until you memorize
This things helped me with math tests, which I had many struggles with.
But it may not work with you, like mental maps don’t work with me, but they work with my friend. You need to adapt your study method to your needs (ADHD and dislexia may difficult your way to study too, so if you have this type of conditions, you must be aware of it), if you don’t do it so, it will only became harder and difficult to study in the future.
I also suggest looking up for ways to solve this specific issue, but what I mencioned up works too.
