Ask them anyway. It's just going to cause more trouble if you don't ask before you go. It also might corner you into telling lies, getting in trouble, etc.
How many responsible adults will there be? Your parents might not know. They may say yes as long as there were multiple adults present and that they were responsible in the case of emergency.
