Is it the pounding on the floor,

The swishing through the net,

The cheering of the crowd,

Or the buzzing right after the winning shoot,

Could it be the hours of practice,

What makes basketball so great?

What makes a person a player?

One thing I know for sure,

Basketball is not just a sport.
