its so awful. I got beaten up for not using it. honestly tiktok also ruined people. nowadays you cant have unique interests or you will be called a pick me.  I want to time travel to the viking age

And you’re right, TikTok does ruin people. They reel people in, brainwash them, and make them follow trends and do dangerous challenges on TikTok. And they never come back.

TikTok ruins the attention span of kids, and it's toxic. Hours and hours of scrolling through useless videos that you won't even remember the next day... I think I'll stay away.

There’s both good things and bad things about TikTok.

Pros

• There’s a community
• You can express yourself in shorts
• There’s a lot of fun filters
• The logo is cool

Cons

• I’m not sure about this one, but I think the community is toxic.
• It’s Chinese spyware
• You have to be 13+ to use it

True, and even with those stupid challenges aside, it is actually killing your brain cells. Literally. Over time, it also shortens peoples attention span as to one of a 5 year old. Permanetly. Swipe. Swipe. Swipe. Swipe. What do you expect? It also make people develop disorders. The most common being anorexia and worrying about how you look, and thinking your ugly unless you look a certain way. Agreed mate. I mean, you always hear about how we’re the first generation who grew up not knowing what’s it’s like to not have social media. I mean, okay that’s not true for me but that’s besides the point. I’m studying marketing, and social marketing is mainly directed toward our generation. After all, we grew up alongside it.
