Invitation to birthday party

So my friend invited me her birthday pool party and only me and one parent can come my mom says that it’s very weird and strange because a pool party in 4TH GRADE!

Share your thoughts in the comments! Should i go? Should I not go? Should i stop being friends with her? HELP,,!!!

I think you should go if you're comfortable. I'm 11 and my parents are very overprotective. I haven't been to friend's houses in 4 years, and they don't let me have sleepovers. Your friend's parents probably just want to make sure your safe.

It isn't weird to have a pool party at your age! I mean as long as those kids aren't doing drugs, vaping, and stuff like that (which hopefully they shouldn't, especially at their age) it'll be fine. Also since there'll be adults it'll be okay.
