I dunno, but I remember the very day that The Hive Java shut down. It was 3 days after I registered an account here.
On The Hive, I mostly played the Arcade Games (shuffled). There was a vote system for each game and whichever game got the most votes was the game that would be played. I remember hating One in the Chamber (which I still hate) and Incognito (basically QuakeCraft, which I like now), and loving Battery Dash (which I haven’t played since the server shut down as it was unique to the server).
Battery Dash is a 4-team game. The goal is to be the first team to get your battery charged to 100%. Everyone runs to the middle and gets power, then they return to their team area and charge the battery.
The Hive isn’t the only server that I played on all the time that shut down. Mineclub shut down, too. (Pretty surprising since it once had 1000+ players) But that could be an entire post.
