Question

Yesterday, I got told that my parents are… separating.

They have had fights, some seriously bad ones too, for over a year now… and its finally happening.

My mom and my siblings and I are moving to a completely different state on the other side of the country THIS SUNDAY.

I HAVE 3 DAYS TO THINK ABOUT THIS BUT I ALSO HAVE TO PACK AND EVERYTHING AND I WONT SEE MY DAD AND I FEEL GUILTY THAT WERE JUST LEAVING HIM. I moved to the place I’m living in LAST YEAR. I literally only got to live here a year. I FINALLY made friends. Me and my bestie literally cried over the phone. Her birthday is literally only 2 days after we leave. I have to miss it.

My dad has to stay here because he’s in the military. Meanwhile I’m going across the country all the way away from him. I never got to see him too often, but…

I don’t want to not see him at all.

My depression is creeping on back in.

My whole family and I began to cry. For some reason I had this STRONG URGE to come out and be like… “SO, WHILE EVERYONES SAD, LET ME JUST ADMIT SOMETHING OUT OF THE BLUE TO YOU!”

But I didn’t. I kept it in. And now I have to pack all my stuff and get rid of a lottt of my stuff and ughhh.

Oh yeah also I’m moving somewhere with the WHITE WHITE people. Like, the RACIST folks. And if they are racist, I’m not surprised if they are homophobic too.

Shoot.

Alright, important stuff!

I may be gone or more active, but I think what’s really happening is I won’t be on very much. I’m not going to continue my stories for a while. The posts I made I’m not gonna really answer right now. I’m having a rough time. Also, my family has no idea I use Kidztalk. I don’t know what would happen if they found out, but idk if they’d be okay with it. Which means I kinda hide it from them, so I gotta make sure my screen ain’t being looked at. Which means I might not be able to get on for a week or something like that.

Anyways… I hope you guys are doing well?

That sucks a whole lot. Especially the fact that you’re probably moving to a homophobic state. (I’m assuming the South)

Anyways, uh, like before, the 2 answers said what I was gonna say, and plus, I don’t really have much to say in most important vents like these (I’m bad at advice), so yeah.

It's totally fine to vent. You're going through a lot.

I am not sure how to help you, but I do know that things are going to get better. You're going to stay in contact with your bestie, you're going to make equally as great friends in the new state, and everything is going to be okay. Because (not to be religious, just something I heard somewhere and I at first didn't know it was biblical) "This, too, shall pass."

All of us on KT love you and this will get better. Nothing is a promise, but that also means that an entire life of suffering is DEFINITELY NOT A PROMISE EITHER! It's gonna be better than you ever imagined :D
