As some of you have pointed out, it would make the poll results less honest if we opened them up to unregistered users.

That's just the way it works. I suppose they have to maintain some control over users based on accounts.

But seriously, think about it: people could have literally unlimited votes if they let unregistered users vote. It would be Trump fraud 2.0. You could just vote on something over and over again.
