There are messaging capabilities built into the software but no way to moderate it (yet.)

We keep hoping someone will develop a tool to allow private chats to be fully moderated on this system. If not, we will create it, but it takes time...

Idk you have a very specific use case so I'm not sure if a developer would ever take that up.

Yeah they said that a long time ago. The lack of DMs was the main reason I (and therefore C) left.

I think a lot of people left KN because of the lack of social features
