1. 5 years later, Isla uses Wa'akkir to shapeshift into a cat. She finds Pirie as a dog. She knows it's Pirie because he's playing (Pirie plays a lot). She walks away from him. If you're not old enough to get it, here's the explanation:
A dog and a cat would walk away from each other even if they were separated for years.
2. The Elders choose an adult male fox to be Black Fox. One Elder wants to see him use wa'akkir to turn into a wolf. He says silly words and makes silly gestures. He even asks for a wand. The Elders determine that he thinks that wa'akkir is nonsense (it's not) and drop his title as Black Fox. This one everyone can get. I put it's not in parentheses to make the joke non-offensive.
3. A male fox who is a teenager in fox years decides to use wa'akkir to shapeshift into a dog. He does and one of the furless takes him to a shelter just for dogs. An hour later, he is adopted by a furless. The furless buys him a collar and a leash. They walk on the wildway and see a fox. The furless tells him to catch it. He turns back into a fox. The furless screams and runs in fear in a hilarious way. An Elder was watching the whole thing. He tells this to the other Elders and they laugh at the last part. They add it to their foxlore collection.
