plot ideas (plz respond)

Question

Im writing a book currently. I need ideas on what should be the plot. I already have the characters. the main character is a Scandinavian-American 12 year old named Ingrid Svensdóttir. I need ideas for the plot tho (the story is based off in Scandinavia and Scandinavian-American themes so a Nordic/Scandinavian theme is highly reccomended

Maybe set it in a big city (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, etc.) and all sorts of stuff happens in the city. Not usual stuff, but unusual stuff.

Maybe this person helps develop MC ( at the Stockholm one) and something happens like MC closing down or there being a bug so bad it breaks MC and the main character is the only one that knows how to fix it.

Sorry if that's not what you're going for I really only read if books ( that I'm A bit too old for)
