When I saw “Barbie Dreams”, I immediately thought of the worst song ever (other than Gasolina by Daddy Yankee). It’s called “Barbie Girl” and it’s by Aqua. It’s so controversial it wasn’t included in the Barbie movie. (Barbie World by Nicki Minaj and someone else replaced it)

I honestly think the Barbie song is slightly inappropriate.

If you really listen to the lyrics, it doesn't sound like something that was specifically made for little children... Or maybe I'm just being weird again.

Aqua's song is an oddball, that's for sure. I can't mention any lyrics or example here because its not appropriate, but some of the verses are questionable and a bit misogynistic.

The Barbie movie song by Nicki Minaj is also a bit odd. Im not a fan of rap or pop though, so that's probably just me, but either way I don't think you can really make a good song with Barbie. Neither of these songs are for children, though, or maybe that's just me.

I just realized that is a bit of an oxymoron xD

And yeah, the lyrics are very... Questionable, as you said. Every time I listen to it, I'm like:

"This can't be the actual theme song, right—"

I'm also not a fan of rap. I dunno what's considered "pop" but I may like some of them. I also didn't know that Nicki Minaj made one... That must be interesting O_O

Oxymoron of the week, right here :)

Nicki Minaj just took Aqua's song, quieted it, and added some loud track beats before rapping about Barbie on top of it. I'm not even joking xD

Yeah, it might fly over young kids heads, but still, its odd. Like they're saying all this inappropriate and questionable things in the movie's official soundtrack that kids are most likely going to watch.

Amen, I'm signing that petition. Its just weird to me why they would put such un-child-friendly things in that song knowing full well that kids would listen to it.
