So im making a game in fortnite creative
If you dont know what fortnite is, you’re living under a rock.
If you dont know what fortnite creative is, its basically a gamemode where users can create games that other users can play, and, depending on if you’re a minor (i think), can get paid based on the amount of users that play it. If you have PC, you can use unreal engine to import assests, configure with the environment, etc.
If you dont know what super smash bros is, you’re still living under a rock.
So in fortnite creative i used the PPAP method (more on that in a bit) and combined the two with fortnite creative.
Okay, so, you know how fortnite has like 5 trillion crossovers?
Well, um, there’s actually quite a bit of characters i like that are in fortnite.
I have doom slayer, the terminator, spiderman, and the foundation AKA the rock ().
They are all skins which grant no advantage. I buy them with v-bucks because they look super cool.
Anyways, back to this.
Im making ULTRA SMASH BROS, which is currently still in development.
I so far have 5 characters:
Link (Legend of Zelda), who wields the Master Sword (made by my friend with the custom melee designer), and the Guardian Shield since its the only shield in the game, and we still need something to replace the Hylian Shield.
T-101 (Terminator franchise) who has a 1887 Lever Action Shotgun and 1911 pistol.
Dutch Schaefer (Predator, 1986 version), wielding a M16 and a Boom Bow.
Doom Slayer (Doom franchise) using the Crucible (made by me with the custom melee designer), and a Double Barrel Sawn-Off Shotgun.
Walter White (Breaking Bad) using a Ruger 38 LCR (revolver) and a S&W 4506 (hand cannon).
Im planning on adding more surprise characters.
I am going to make a system where you start with T-101 and Link and you have to unlock the others. We tested out everyone but Dutch, and we determined Doom Slayer was really OP, and Link was pretty weak compared to the others, who have ranged weapons.
I will also make a system where you get a specific amount of credits (i will probably use something like crystals), which you can use to level up (leveling up has zero effect on your damage or health, it simply shows the level of skill or experience you have.
I am contemplating making a system where you can upgrade your weapons.
Anyways, what do you think?
