So im thinking about doing competitive dance in about a year or 2, so Im starting to make routines for basic dance styles needed for a competitive dance team.
Tap: It's like a step, step, back, forward, movement. Then I turn and put my leg up while the rest of my body is facing down. Kicl, ball, change, kick ball change.(more to be added)
Hip Hop: I start with my back facing the audience and then put both my arms out to the beat. (left first, then right) Then I turn to face the audience and run towards the edge getting ready for a straddle split. (middle split) Do a straddle split, immediately do a windmill, get up, punch left, punch right, walk backwards on an eight count. Hold head and move fast.
Ballet: I actually haven't made a ballet solo yet. I'll edit this post when I do though.
Jazz: Same for ballet.
