Idc if this is spoilers but this is possibly the most dark thing in a dreamworks movie
In chicken run (2000) a chicken named Edwina is taken by the chicken farms owner to a barn due to her not being able to lay eggs anymore. She is then beheaded with an axe (we see the shadow of the owner beheading the chicken with the axe and the thud of the axe hitting the wood) and is eaten by the owner and her husband. Her rib bones are seen along with other food shortly after in another scene.
