Hey, so… a little… account update?

Question

I have been very involved in everything LGBTQ on here. Expressing who I was, trying to educate people, disagreeing with people with other views…

But who I am should not be based on my sexuality?? I express myself on here like my sexuality is the only thing about me and it really isnt.

For those who I have tried to rip apart and straight up attacked about LGBTQIA+++, I’m sorry about that. I’ll politely disagree in the future.

I’ve kind of been… ashamed of just existing as an LGBTQ member. I’ve gotten a LOT more familiar with the community… and honestly? It’s kind of toxic.

Some people are amazing, loving human beings. I thought this community was all that. But really…

I made an internet friend about 2 weeks ago. They were bi as well as nonbinary, and we hit off instantly.

But a few days after I mer them, the conversations just kept being led towards LGBTQ. They were nice at first, and then they were getting progressively mean. They kept making fun of straight people? And I told them they just like the opposite gender, its not a big deal. And then they said “Straight people are boring. Like thats no fun.”

I kind of ignored it and it didn’t happen again. But then in another conversation THEY FLIPPING TOLD ME I SHOULD CHANGE MY PRONOUNS CAUSE I DONT LIKE DRESSES SO THEN IM NOT A GIRL

I DONT GET YOUR LOGIC?!?!

Oh also they were for whatever reason REALLY hating on Chinese people and being all racist.

We aren’t friends anymore, thats for sure.

And besides that, there are so many other reasons at this point I’ve found as I’ve gotten more familiar with this community that I can’t share on here that support the fact that people are toxic. Pride events can be downright disgusting???

I support your gender identity, I support your sexuality, I do NOT support your behavior (unless it’s good.)

So… uh… I’m abrosexual, I’m proud, but I’ll stop flaunting it.

We are all equal and I think LGBTQ+ has gotten to a good point of acceptance now. Heterosexual (straight) people are just as great as homosexual (gay/people who also like their gender) people, same way flipped around. Same with cisgender and transgender people. Or if they are aromantic or asexual. Nobody is more superior.

People who identify as something other than cis/hetero can be great people! It’s just some of them are INTENSE. Some do this just to try and be noticed and popular a lot of the time. Most don’t BUUUUUT uhm

I hope I didn’t make anyone angry with this. I don’t think I did/will though.

So far, you definitely didn’t make anyone angry. And yeah, I agree with GC about KidzTalk entering a cooldown part.

Also, being in LGBT+ doesn’t give you a free pass to bully people who aren’t. (For me, it’d be irony if I bullied straight people…)

And thanks for warning me about the toxic side of the fandom. I’ll be avoiding that side for a while.

I think KT is moving into a cooldown era for lgbtq stuff (i dont think it should stop, i just think everything is simply cooling down.).

i dont support lgbtq, for several reasons (im not homophobic, i used to have a lesbian friend on roblox and i have lgbtq friends here):

1: Im Christian. Biggest reason.

2: some parts of the community are toxic (i have been around those toxic parts ALOT in the past)

3: i think is good to be proud to a certain extent. But hating on straight people is just too far. There’s one lgbtq youtuber that does a “ChECkInG oN ThE StRAiGhtS” series, and i think its annoying.

Either way, my lgbtq friends here are still my friends.

I never seen you as rude on here, and feel free to flaunt anything on here (In good spirit of course). Thank you for embracing the philosophy that all people are equal, I wish that more people can learn that too (most everyone on here is fine though).
