A math page that says 54 divided by 13 what should I say

Second grade and you’re doing that? Either you’re in an advanced math class or the curriculum is too advanced, because you usually learn division in 3rd grade.

Anyways, you can try multiplying 13 by a number (like 1, 2, 3, etc) until you get the number closest to 54 and is below 54. Then, you put the other factor (1, 2, 3, etc) on top of the “4”, subtract whatever number you got (the product) from for example 13 x 3, from 52, and that’s your remainder.

I learnt division in the 2nd grade as well

but it was only 1 digit division

like 8 ÷ 2

I probably was gonna learn division in 2nd grade too, but COVID basically ruined my second half of 2nd grade. (We did online meetings and all I did was chat in the Zoom chat)
