Poison dart frogs are native to south and central America, and are commonly found in tropical rainforests. They are often accompanied by other small vertebrates that share the same habitat, including lizards, snakes, and small mammals. Additionally, insects, arachnids and other invertebrates also live in the same environments as poison dart frogs.
