Super Bowl 58: one of the greatest of all time

This was easily a top tier super bowl.

I do think the 49ers should have won, and I am devastated that they lost, but congratulations to the chiefs team for winning.

Okay, so why was I rooting for the 49ers?

Multiple reasons.

1: Chiefs were already overrated before Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started dating

2: They are overrated right now

3: the ref’s kids go to college because of their extra pay (if you know what i mean)

4: 49ers have really hustled for this (comeback in NFC championship)

5: Brock Purdy 100% deserved a ring

6: Brock Purdy is Tom Brady but without all the hate

7: The Chiefs have beef with most/all of the teams I like

Agreed. I didn’t watch the game, but I wanted the 49ers to win for mostly the same reasons. And also because the Chiefs won last year.

Another record: Butker (Chiefs Kicker) kicked the longest Superbowl Field goal of 57 yds.

I was rooting for the Chiefs, but I wouldn't be devastated by their loss either. I like Brock Purdy bc he is doing very well for his 2nd yr in the NFL.  He is also a Christian and publicly speaks about it so that's good.

Even if mahomes threw for 5,000 yards each season for the next 6 seasons, he still wouldn’t have Brady’s yard count.

Plus, due to injuries and his unique style, he won’t have the same Longevity as Brady.

snubbed MVP seasons (he DEFINITELY should have won in 2021, still ticks me off):

People discredit Tom Brady because of all the “cheating” accusations.

Patty Mahomes is definitely on his way to be the GOAT, but he’s still gotta win 5 more Super Bowls and surpass all of Brady’s achievements to become the GOAT.
