Kidzsearch, can you please fix this?

Question

I’ve spent over 30 minutes working on Just Business EP. 3, and I went over to the KnowYourMeme website in another tab for less than two minutes, and right as I went back to this tab, all of my progress was gone.

It’s getting really annoying, please fix it.

It's a thing Apple does.

If your inactive on a tab for a minute, your iPad "closes" that tab.

I think it's to free up your iPad's memory.

There is a setting for that to control how long Safari keeps tabs open. You can choose manual.

What type of device are you using? When you went back to the page, did it log you out also?

iPad is what I am using.

It did not log me out, but it has been logging me out more frequently recently.

So the tab was still open and you were not logged out, but all your content cleared when you went back to it?

It could be related to your tablet trying to get more memory back if you have a lot of tabs open. We will try testing some more and fix things we can on our end. In the future, you might want to work on long-form content using a different editor and copy/paste it later.
