I think that we should have something where like for example,

If I said for ThatOneRainbowWorm please read.

ThatOneRainbowWorm should get a notification saying, you were mentioned in braceletgirl123's post!

Sorry if this is a bad iead i just think it will be helpful for the people who miss posts for them

But it should only notify you if you spell therenusername right!

Is this a good idea?

This is one of the best ideas I have heard on KS but it might be hard for them to do and that would be hard to do if you are on a browser because you need pc permissions to send notifications and such. It just might be hard for them to do it. I dunno.

It is a good idea. We could add a KidzTalk notification, like what you see now on the top right for comments, upvotes, etc.

Becuz I could say in my post joel was so nice to me that does not mean they need a notification but if I said for @ThatOneRainbowWorm please read it would be awesome for him to get it!

Yeah!

They should make it though, so avoid unintentional spam, only do it if your name is mentioned with an @, in my opinion.

So instead of getting a notif when someone says something like “Oh yeah PsychoSloth did that too”

You get a notif for “@PsychoSloth lemme tell you something”

So theres no spam

Good idea! People with long usernames (like me) might not be notified even if they get mentioned because of nicknames, so maybe there should be a box and you can choose what you get notified for. (For example, if you wanted to be notified for a mention of “Elo” or “Nobi” in a post, then you would write it down and it would mention you. This is probably a little confusing)
