hello everyone and welcome to Coming Out: Therian Edition. There will be two episodes of this series, Coming Out: Bisexual Edition, and Coming Out: Therian Edition.
So, if you don't mind, here is the story!
It all started a few months ago, around late December-early January, three of my besties came out as therians. I honestly thought they were weird and they made me uncomfortable, but I really didn't know much about therians then so I couldn't really judge.
Fast forward to late February, I learn a whole lot about therians and I love hanging out with them, I know their theriotype's names, and I become fond of them.
Fast forward to the middle of March, where I start having little visions of being a cat/wolf/dog. I keep the visions to myself, making cat sounds every once in a while. However, I try to tell people I thought I was a therian, but I couldn't bring myself to say it each time.
Fast forward to last Saturday, I finally brought myself to write down, "I think I am a therian, tho I haven't had a shift." on a piece of newspaper and handed it to two of my therian besties who had been at my house. They teach me basic therian things and I have a mental shift as a cat when I put on a mask I had made.
A few hours after they leave, I text my non-therian bestie and she texts my friend group groupchat that I'm a therian (for some reason my texting app doesn't let me text or call groupchats). Then I post on KT that I am a therian and show a picture of my mask before I added a scar.
Last Monday, I came to school with a mysterious blue mini backpack. Everyone wanted to know what was in the bag (no one knew I was a therian yet), but I wouldn't let anyone see. Eventually at recess, I opened the bag and revealed my mask.
Yesterday, I learned how to do walking quads and I'm practicing trotting. I have not come out to my parents yet, but all my classmates know.
