Um. So…i have news…im very scared

Question

So…Ik this isn’t THE END OF THE WORLD but…

I went to the orthodontist 2 days ago, and they said i would need braces. No big deal I’ve always known that. But they also said that i should get 2 teeth pulled. This is the first time this idea has come up. Because apparently my lip sticks out so i should get both of my premolars out. I’m scared guys. They are basing this off of my x-rays 3 years ago…so it might not be accurate…but still. I’m getting more x-rays on May 21 i think. I’ll update u along the way if anything comes up….but yeah. Ik it’s nothing compared to others…but…

EDIT: (I forgot to add this lol) The only reason they want my teeth out is for looks alone. Apparently… my lip is…ahem they said this ‘bulging out’ which I don’t think it is…and getting my teeth out will help it. Note that NO dentist has ever said this. And I don’t really care about my lip. Honestly…

I had to have a tooth pulled because it was being stubborn and didn’t wanna come out and they gave me this numbing stuff in the area that the tooth was and I felt NOTHING like I didn’t know they had pulled it out until they said they had lol

So I don’t really think you need be worried!

OMG this is terrifying idk what you're talking about that its not that bad!! I had to get a cavity filled and I was TERRIFIED!!! But depending on where you go, it should be ok because you get laughing gas which you won't feel anything but also you... yk you laugh so that good right?? lolllll haha XD

Anyway I got sidetracked. The point is your gonna do great and its gonna be fine!! <3

I've had the exact thing happen to me and I was petrified. Don't worry it won't hurt at all. When I went in I sat in a patient chair and they said the were gonna give me laughing gas and stick a massive needle in my mouth and then pull the teeth. They put a mask over my nose which caused me to laugh a ton (laughing gas also numbs the mouth). I was talking to my dad asking when they were gonna stick the shot in me and pull my teeth. Apparently, they had already done all that and my mouth was so numb I couldn't even feel it.

Don't worry you will be fine UT doesn't hurt one bit :)

I had 8 teeth pulled in two weeks once. they numb the places and u get to watch TV. it doesnt hurt at all and u get ice cream after :)
