Question to anyone in non-homeschool junior high

Question

So next month I am starting middle school yay^sarcasm which also happens to be the high school (junior high and high school are in the same building here) and i sorta want some advice on that. I know the classes are gonna be harder, but I can handle that (probably). But socially, i am not sure if I am prepared for middle school, so, any advice on that?

I'm going to ninth grade next year - and just try to talk to everyone and be friendly. Try your best to not engage in drama. Do some extracurriculars so you can meet some friends that have the same interests as you. If you get bullied, come in and tell an adult, ask for backup, or walk away. Come in and help out students who are struggling with academics, bullying, and more.

I never engage in drama. And I always stand up for kids who are bullied, mostly cause I remember someone doing the same for me. And I already thought of a few extracurricular activities to do.

I am going into 6th grade. At my school 5th was the start to junior high. My advice socially would to be open to change. Talk to new people and don't be suprised if some friends you had before that still go to your school don't hangout with you. I don't have much advice. Sorry...
