So I was watching a show with my grandmother, and in the episode, there was a feud between Catholics and Protestants. What the people did in the show to stop it, was they had a few kids from each side stay in one place together. They chose kids because the adults had the feud so stuck in their mind they couldn't change it. There was one girl telling a story from when she had been little (she was a Protestan) and some of her friends threw rocks at Catholics, and and she was peer pressured into throwing a rock, the boy she threw it at fell down, and it haunted I her, she ran home, told her mom what happened and her mom was proud of her. The girl wanted to change that, she wanted Protestants and Catholics to make peace with each other.
I loved the episode. I personally think that the only way this world will get better is through children, because adults have divided everything, been taught by their parents to or have personal grudges, but kids don't have that. The only thing that makes kids prejudice against others is what they have been told and taught. And what they have been taught doesn't always encourage peace, like with the girl's mom. The peace experiment in the show worked and they got along.
