This is the first time I've written a fursona fiction! I hope it'll be fun!

Also, I have a bit of OCD so as I write this chapter I am learning more about it!

Chapter One

POV: Gemmalyn

image
Setting: The Principal's Office at School
Time: 5:34 P.M, Friday December 13th

"GEMMALYN!"

The harsh, loud voice of the principal made the small brown kitten cower.

"YOUR TURN!"

Gemmalyn froze for a moment, sitting in a chair circle of other furries. They were supposed to be talking about their problems in this makeshift therapy session the principal had decided to host today for the first time for the "problem" children.

The principal, a fat pink pig man with sweat running down his bulbous neck onto his extremely tight and grubby T-shirt, stared at her. She gulped.

"Um, hi..." she said slowly. When she was nervous, her little claws on her paw-hands came out randomly: she had scars up and down her upper arms from where she had clutched them during social situations where everything was going terrible. She winced; she could feel the needle-like sharpness now. "My name is Gemmalyn."

"And?" said the principal with a snort. By this point he was eating a huge value McDonald's meal burger, the pickles and onions poking out from under the meat because of the size of his grimy, greasy hooves.

"I suffer from a bit of OCD and some paranoia anxiety sometimes." Gemmalyn said quietly.

The school consoler, from beside the principal, nodded, as if to urge Gemmalyn on, but instead spoke herself. "I am guessing that you have obessions?" she asked, her huge red glasses lying uncertainly on her deer nose.

Gemmalyn shook her head. "Kinda. Like, if I want to do something it predominates everything else until I get it done. Like a drawing."

She nodded encouragingly and inquired, "Does stress or the crisis of possibly not getting it done make it worse?"

"It depends..." Gemmalyn said honestly. "I have a little bit of it, and it annoys me sometimes."

The deer smiled and said, "Many people with OCD are very creative and imagnative, and are very smart. I think this matches you. Is it hard to dismiss random weird thoughts that you sometimes have, like ideas for a story?"

When Gemmalyn nodded, another furry in the group raised her hand.

"Yes?" snorted the principal.

"My name is Nori," said the Manokit sheepishly. She had beautiful silvery grey blue fur and a sweet personality that hit Gemmalyn when she first spoke.
